The shutter is opening and sounds accurate. This camera takes 16mm film and the lens is clean & with a slight haze. The aperture stops down correctly. The focus adjustment moves smoothly. The look down viewfinder does have a small area that appears to be a small delamination. This will not affect use. This camera will be a great entry level 16mm movie camera for film students.
